PLEASE NOTE - If you plan to sell, bring a plastic tarp, blanket, or table to display your items. If you are tailgate selling, park in front of the main building. The tailgate mart may overflow onto the adjacent gym hall parking lot. So, bring a sun umbrella if you have one and use plenty of sun-screen. For all others, definitely park in this large gym hall parking lot.
Because the barbeque is catered by the Academy, we are asking for the registration to be mailed in as we normally do for meetings. The registration ($22 each) cutoff date for the picnic is Friday, August 19th. Registrations received after August 19th and walk-ins are $27.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Once again we are looking forward to a wonderful summer picnic at Wilbraham & Monson Academy. We have extended an open invitation to other New England and Eastern New York chapters and are looking for a big turnout. Last year the Mart parking lot was full of sellers, and this year's Mart promises to be equally well attended. Since there is no additional charge to sell at the Mart, it is a great time to sell unneeded clocks, watches, parts, and other horological items.
There will be no formal presentations, but we will again have a show and tell session. This year the theme will be "SPECIAL CLOCKS AND WATCHES". Everyone has a clock or watch that is "SPECIAL." What is yours? Is it the first one you ever bought or repaired, or something else? For small items there will be a camera available for projecting an image onto a screen. Also, we can project images from your disc. Bring your "Special" clock or watch along and give us a short presentation. Make it informal, brief and fun..
The planned program is as follows:
9:00. Tailgate Mart (indoors in case of rain).
10:45. Show & Tell - SPECIAL WATCH AND CLOCK presentations.
11:45. Horological door prizes.
12:15. Barbeque Picnic Lunch.
After the picnic, clock tower tour. Jeff Wood will conduct tours for those interested. A sign-up sheet will be available at the check-in table. Wear rubber-soled shoes.
